We use evidenced-best practices and assessment tools to create an individualized treatment plan to address behavioral excesses or deficits related to the child’s social interactions.
Social skills programs may focus on, language and communication, play, and teaching independent life skills such as having a play date with a friend. Social skills programs are designed with life-long behaviors in mind.
Children are learning social norms, tools and strategies that they can take with them throughout their life beyond intervention. Our social skills programs have a strong emphasis on generalizing and mastering that skill outside of the center via schools and community settings where that skill can be used in a functional way.
